Klaudia
Meet our gardener Klaudia. She’s been taking care of the Water&Wine crops for several months now. She hails from the region of Kaszuby, she is a qualified engineer with an artistic soul. Her adventure in agriculture started one day when an elderly man asked her to help him in his small home garden. At that time she was only planting seeds, but what grew out of it was a true love and respect for the soil and the gardening. As architect she designs urban greeneries. She participated in international architectural and urban revitalisation projects in the Baltic States, e.g. “Culturability” or “River of Opportunities”. Today her specialisation and passion is exploring how the soil quality affects the food and human’s health. She is the member of an international group “Kiss the Ground”. In Drzewce she designs cultivation plans, takes care of vegetable gardens, greenhouse and vineyards. She makes sure the plants receive adequate ecological fertilisers. She prepares ferments for our plants made of nettle, comfrey, or horsetail. She nourishes the soil with microorganisms, she plants after-crops – legumes – to dig them back into the soil. She understands that there are no good crops without healthy, fertile soil. Taking care of the quality of the soil is a number one priority. Klaudia is very passionate about her job, her plans and healthy living – she is an excellent expert and a wonderful team member of Water&Wine.
