Bloggers at the Chef’s Table
On May 29 our restaurant hosted a group of our blogger friends – Magda Gendźwiłł from Crust and Dust, Magda Klimczak from Dare to Cook, Katarzyna M. Marciniewicz from Chilli Bite, Maia Sobczak from Qmam Kasze, and Sylwia Sobczak and Agata Anioł from Kuchnia w Formie.
We started with a nice aperitif – we invited our guests to the Perlage Water Bar, a lovely summer truck serving refreshing, fizzy Cisowianka Perlage. After a short rest, they headed to the field and the greenhouse, where together with Water&Wine team they were picking fruits, vegetables and herbs.
Next, our invitees came into the new space of Water&Wine – the Chef’s Table. It’s a unique, recently completed area with an open kitchen and a common table, where our guests can cook together with the chefs and then eat the food they prepared in small, up to 8-people groups (we already take reservations for this type of dinners – go to Reservations – Chef’s Table on our website).
The modern cooking area, located just above the vineyard and the field made huge impression on our guest bloggers. Inside, together with our team, they prepared the meal. They served among others carrot consommé with parsley oil, elderflower in tempura with vinegar gel, grilled white asparagus with maturing goat cheese, rapeseed oil and young vegetables baked in hay with beetroot leaves fried in lemon juice and wild herbs (stitchwort, yarrow, sorrel, grass vetchlings and clover) and there were sorrel ice-cream with crunchy ants for dessert.
When we finished eating we invited our guests to visit the Chef’s Table cellar, abundant in various preserves. Our main chef suggested a tasting of our home-made cider which was received with a great deal of applause! At the end, we invited the ladies again to the Water Bar to try a surprise tart, prepared by Water&Wine chefs on the occasion of Magdalena’s name day.
We are sure that, as usual, our guests will come up with new recipe ideas following the visit to Water&Wine and experiencing our cuisine. This is why, we invite you to follow the blogs of our guests and see how our cuisine inspires others.
